Coming from Pattaya through 2nd road and driving into the circle, turn into Naklua Road that leads slightly uphill, passing the Woodland Resort on your left (approx 100 meters.) and continue on for about 2 km Northward. Turn left (from Naklua Road) into Soi 16 between the temple and the school, where a pedestrian bridge is crossing the road. Follow Soi 16 for about 1 km and when it makes a curve to the right towards the Siam Penthouse and Garden Condo, look to your right where you will see the Art Cafe.

The cuisine is best described as French Mediterranean and can be found in this colonial-style house with walls packed full of paintings and a ground floor restaurant that opens out to the lawn and a garden. The inside looks similar to an art gallery, and for good reason. It is in fact a gallery, and often offers art exhibitions and you may even find a painter sitting at his easel pinting a familiar Dali or Leonardo de Vinci.

The menu is offered in Eglish, German, and French with a blackboard that offers rotating specials, such as, rabbit, goose, turkey or barracuda. For starters, there is scallops in orange sauce, mussels in a paprika herb sauce, or a grilled vegetable platter with herbs and buffalo mozzarella and basil. Main courses include a great roast beef dish in red wine sauce and pork fillet medallions in a whole-grain mustard sauce which comes with potatoes & baked garlic that is delicious. There is also spaghetti with squid ink & smoked salmon, lemon dill fettucini pasta with seafood and tomato in parchment wrap. Meat lovers will appreciate the chicken breast in a pepper cream sauce, rabbit in olive sauce with gnoochi, roasted rack of lamb with fresh herbs and even imported steaks. We opted for the apple tart for dessert and it was obvious to us why it was selected as a signature dish but the pear in red wine with mango sherbert is a close second.
