The restaurant has a design such as often seen on the French coast of the Adriatic. The restaurant has large glass windows allowing patrons to feel as if they were outdoors. There is a semi-enclosed area where smoking is permitted.
Primarily a pizzeria, the menu contains more than 50 pizzas, all baked in a eucalyptus wood-fired oven in-the-round at the main dining area’s center. The crust is not-to-thin or thick and cooked with the bottom slightly burnt perfectly with just the right amount of sauce and an exceptional example of a quality Italian pizza. We enjoyed the Salame E Salsiccia and added black olives to make for a great pie. Among the antipasti selections available is Carpaccio Salmon with Capers and Black Olives. About a dozen soups and salads round out the starters. The choice of soup includes Cream of Zucchini with Gargonzola and a nice Lentil Soup that has Bacon and fresh Tomato while salads offer a typical Rocket Salad with Fennel, Parmesan and Black Pepper and a delicious Shrimp and Avacado Salad on a bed of fresh chopped Tomatoes with Balsamic Dressing. The menu also offers five varieties of Risotti. While pastas come in baked and special varieties and include choices such as Alla Puttanesca, Canelloni with Ricotta Cheese & Spinach and a dish that is one of my favorites, the Tortelloni stuffed with Meat (ground beef) in a speck and delicious rich Gorgonzola Sauce with Smoky-salty Tyrolean Bacon. Diners can end their meal with a delicious Italian Ice Cream, Pannacotta or Tiramisu.
There is a list of about 28 red Italian wines, many of which fall in the inexpensive to reasonable price range.
