The finest US beef and local seafood are prepared on a large stainless steel grill with a series of teppanyaki tables each manned by an individual entertaining chef who juggle spatulas, salt pots, and eggs in addition to cutting, dicing, and cooking the food. This is theatrical dining for all ages. There are many selections of vegetarian dishes and there is a private room for up to 20 persons.
Steaks are from the USA or Australia and a great choice is the sirloin steak and chicken combo. There is a T-bone with garlic butter and many steak and seafood dishes that are wonderful, such as, "Tenderloin & Scallops", "Steak & Lobster Tail", and "Steak & Calamari". A number of the hibachi-style items include scallops or steak. All main dishes are served with onion soup, salad, a shrimp appetizer, hibachi vegetables, rice and tea. Garlic rice to end the meal is a house special. Don't forget to leave room for the tempura fried ice cream and the banana tempura.
The hotel has recently added its own Kabuki Sushi Bar to one side of the restaurant where serious raw fish dining is a delight offering patrons the best and freshest sushi and sashimi, including sake, that definintely adds to make the perfect Japanese meal.
Japanese beer or a flagon of hot sake seems to go best with this type food, but if you prefer wine, there is an adequate selection for your taste.
It is all about the juggling chefs here, throwing, twirling and catching the food, the cutlery and often the chef even will slice an egg in mid-air. This is dining with maximum entertainment with service that'ss very professional.
Two people can order an average meal for about 750 baht each which is a value since you receive a lot more than great food. |
