Chefs are from Hong Kong and China and they man the kitchen as they prepare their daily fresh, hand-made noodles and dim sum. Crystal Jade branches are located throughout Asia, so it isn't necessary to fly to Shanghai for quality steamed pork dumplings. As a matter of fact, the signature dish has the addition of goose liver to its best-selling steamed pork dumplings. Pork dumpling with hot chilli sauce is another sumptuous treat that is recognized by the chilli sauce. Beef dumpling is spicy with a delightful flavor of beef in the large balls. Deep-fried crispy prawn with garlic and chilli is topped with crunchy garlic bits. For dessert, the mango pudding offers pieces of mango meat. Souffle egg white ball with mashed red bean and banana is another crative choice.
The wine list is not extensive, offering about ten or twelve Italian labels.;
