Set on the 22nd floor of the Pan Pacific, Hai Tien Lo is decorated in red, black and gold while offering views of Bangkok’s skyline.
Many traditional Cantonese dishes are featured as well as a number of unique creations reflecting a fusion of Japanese and Thai cuisine. Lunchtime offers baked tiger prawns with specialties sauce, stir-fried soft shell crab with X.O. sauce, and a stir-fried shredded beef dish with chili sauce along with a wide selection of dim sum. Seafood favorites include prawn with wasabi salad dressing; prawns deep-fried in sour cream mixed with wasabi that results in a delicious light dish. Another not-to-be-missed dish is sauteed tenderloin of beef with black pepper sauce …and it certainly is tender beef. There is a wide range of soups, including shark’s fin and bird’s nest, while the pages of seafood has a live selection of lobster, river prawn, tiger prawn, red and black garoupa and sea bass. Desserts are creative, with chilled cream of mango and pomelo, or you could opt for lemongrass jelly with vodka. |
