Hua Hin Restaurants and Dining PDF Print E-mail

Hua Hin, only a few hours south of Bangkok by car, offers a relaxing beach area that may not have the picturesque postcard beaches of the South but has the same option for water-sports, with nice sand, clear water, & makes for a relaxing inexpensive and easy trek from Bangkok not to mention the beach is often very peaceful and void of those big crowds.  Return to Hua Hin Restaurant Guide

Traditional Thai food, is of course, served everywhere, including food stalls along the beachfront and in Hua Hin's Night Market and great inexpensive restaurants serving Thai food at every turn.

Hua Hin is famed for its cuisine and Night Market area which offers fine seafood and Thai food at local prices. Popular with the locals, Hua Hin is at its busiest on weekends, and bank holidays as it is a retreat for many Bangkok residents. Nearer the beach are the more international flavored restaurants serving quality foreign food in many restaurants owned & managed by foreigners who have decided to make Hua Hin their home. Once an active fishing port, Hua Hin still has enough fishermen around to insure a steady supply of fresh seafood for its restaurants.

The Khao Takiab fish market is the local source for the fresh catch of the day and visitors at sunrise may often see chefs from 5 star hotels inspecting the daily catch for the best selection.

There is no shortage of activities. Water-sports alone will keep you busy for a week, however, there's many places to see and more than enough fun activities to do.

Hotels dotting the beautiful shoreline are primarily responsible for the high standards & many of the quality ingredients that have been introduced, although, some local restaurants offer diners equally consistent, quality cuisine at a very reasonable price.

Italian food lovers can enjoy most traditional pizza and pasta dishes and occasionally more upscale fare, such as Mamma Mia, while lovers of Mexican and Southwest style BBQ will certainly enjoy the ribs and other specials at California Steak House & Cantina . There are some excellent options for French cuisine, a few choices for German fare, and some home-style Indian places specializing in cuisine from the Northern region. There is also several European bakeries that serve sandwiches and coffee, in addition to excellent baked goods. And if you must, even the fast-food types dot the scenery as well.
