A unique Japanese restaurant on South Pattaya Road, not far from the Big C Supermarket. The restaurant is a large wooden house built in an older Japanese-style decorated with imported furniture from Japan. The glassed-in air-conditioned main area is surrounded by well-stocked koi ponds and a covered terrace with tables that offer footwells for the not-so-limber guests.

The menu is host to more than 200 items, and luckily for diners not so familiar with a Japanese menu, most have photographs. Chefs are Tokyo experienced professionals and each have nearly 20 years behind their belt. The barbecue area is set into a marble-top table and has a central vacuum system to assist in removing smoke and odors. Condiments are on the table for you to add your own taste to dishes.

From a list of about 10 soups, the Salmon in miso soup packed with vegetables is a must, appearing in its own paper dish over a candle, with the salmon poached at your table as you watch. The Yakiniku side of the menu includes some karubi and rosu meat dishes along with about 10 rice and noodle selections. Sushi includes about 12 of the most popular choices, such as, Amai Ebi Sushi (sweet shrimp), along with an equal amount of Maki that includes items like Tekka Maki (tuna), and my other favorite, California Maki. Teppanyaki includes Chicken, Pork, Beef or Salmon Steak along with Seafood and Kimchi Karubi Steak. The Kobe Beef is tender and meat lovers should not miss this treat. For seafood favorites, you'll love the Ebi salted prawns, jumbo in size, with each morsel lip smackin delicious.

Unfortunately, the wine list is lacking for selection, however, the house wine is inexpensive and there is a selection of cocktails, beer, sake and green tea.

Young ladies are dressed in Japanese tunic outfits and are very attentive.
