The restaurant has had a minor face-lift and the subtle color scheme is pleasant.
Persons not familiar with the varieties of Japanese cuisine may find the menu somewhat intimidating, however, there is no shortage of choices and the staff, when attentive enough as they should be to the customers, can assist on menu choices. It may seem adventurous for some, but the eel and cucumber salad, accompanied by seaweed, is one of the better starters. Chicken teriyaki is served in a generous portion for two and is a favorite. Sashimi admirers shouldn't pass up the Hiroshige that is accompanied by a California roll having a nice texture and a sweet mayonnaise. The vegetable tempura is a preferred dish for vegetarians while the deep-fried breaded oysters offer a crispy texture and and a flavor worth ignoring your waist line for the evening. Robatayaki salmon's flavor is complemented by the teriyaki sauce that holds the taste during each bite.
