Lawry's The Prime Rib Singapore opened in 1999. Located in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping belt, the second level of Paragon shopping center. It houses its signature dish - Roasted Prime Ribs of Beef.
An ambience specially created to pamper diners; Lawry's occupies 5 prime units with ceilings that are amongst one of the few Singapore highest restaurant ceilings around. Moving away from the 2 main dining rooms, 2 private function rooms allow for closed-door parties - subjected to additional charges. Adorned with paintings, rich woods and luxurious comfort, an American dining legend for more than half a century. Lawry's tableside service is a novelty. Serving fresh, green salad, the "Famous Original Sprinning Bowl Salad", as the first course is another popular Lawry's innovation.
The menu is truly a meat lovers paradise with Prime Rib served in various sizes, all served together with the spinning boowl salad - specially prepared at the guest's table. Accompanying the prime rib are Yorkshire pudding, mashed potato and gravy. Side dishes, such as, corn or spinach are available, however your plate will arrive and probably be enough for two average sized eaters - yes, portions are huge. An English-style meal with thinly cut slices of beef with lots of gravy is succulent while the Jim Brady cut offers patrons half a kilo of meat served on the bone. For persons not addicted to meat there is the Atlantic lobster tail served with a selection of butter. If carnivores are still hungy for dessert after this meal, the desserts are classic. There is American creamy cheesecake along or you may enjoy the crepe suzette that is sweet and alcoholic. |
