Lin Fa is situated in the Siam City Hotel with an entrance that opens to a room punctuated by spot-lit, recessed shelves displaying Oriental art. One wall of the restaurant was open glass that looked out to the hotels interior garden. The restaurant offers house specialties that include the famous Hong Kong style Suckling Pig, Pan-fried Prawns in a sweet cream sauce and the speciaties in Imperial Brown Sauce prepared with Lin Fa's secret recipe.
A great way to start the meal is the Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup while the Lin Fa Salad with diced mango, other fruits, and small shelled shrimp comes with a mayonnaise dressing. Some of the popular items on the menu include; Tenderloin of Beef with Black Pepper Sauce at 400 baht and the Lin Fa Roast Duck at 600 baht. Seafood is plentiful, with sauteed abalone, sea cucumber and fish maw with oyster sauce served in a casserole being very good, while the freshness and simplicity of steamed sand goby in soy sauce make this a dish to experience. Shrimp and Yunan Ham wrapped in Rice Paper Sheet at 480 baht is delicious while another item not to be missed is Stir-fried Scallops with XO Sauce at 1,000 baht. For something more filling, fried egg noodles with pork and needle mushrooms or fried rice in XO sauce will satisfy any patrons. For dessert, gingko in hot chestnut cream or sesame dumplings in ginger syrup provide a fitting finale.
