This classy venue sits in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong on D'aguilar Street and although it serves as both a restaurant and a bar, it seems equally successful as either one because on Friday and Saturday nights it morphs into a dance club after midnight.
While the bar and the dancing may seem to be the hit, Lux also offers contemporary Mediterranean-influenced food that should not to be overlooked. In fact, if you want an intimate dinner followed by drinks or dancing, this sophisticated establishment might be just right for you. The menu hosts a great selection of steaks, chops and seafood. There is a nicely grilled ahi tuna nicoise salad or you may opt for the pan-seared red snapper or even the lobster and prawn raviolini or tuna with a black-olive pesto. For meat lovers, try the grilled lamb chop brochettes or the veal tortellini with tarragon, sweet peas and tomato.
Happy hour is Monday to Saturday from 6 to 9pm and Sunday from 11am to 9pm. The restarant also offers a set lunch Monday thru Friday for $80HK. |
