Local rosewood is used throughout, giving a rich depth to the decor. Hanging on the walls are original silk paintings, depicting traditional Mandarins. Lacquered enamel and gold-plated ceiling lamps resemble birdcages, and are complemented by glazed, antique flower vases colored a classic deep red. Intricately carved open panels frame the spectacular view of the harbor.
Man Wah is open daily for lunch and dinner and offers a traditional Cantonese menu and seasonal specialities. The menu is small but takes a broad view of traditional cuisine, with dishes that boast the spirit of Cantonese food while adding a discriminating flavor. Signature dishes include saut?ed fillet of sole with green vegetables in black bean sauce, steamed crab claws and stuffed prawns in supreme sauce, while the Man Wah specialty appetizer selection has thin slices of duck, ham, shank and abalone.
