The Oriental Singapore is home to Morton's, The Steakhouse restaurant. Sounds of Sinatra and cocktails set the mood as generous portions of grain-fed aged beef, succulent seafood and classic steakhouse dishes are served in elegant surroundings of panelled walls and private booth seating.
Morton's appetizers range from the classic caesar salad to a colossal shrimp salad. Each quality cut of meat is offered as an entree with the signature 24-ounce porterhouse charbroiled on the outside while perfectly prepared (medium-rare) to a succulent tender piece of beef on the inside. For a leaner cut, the filet mignon is equally tender but not as grand in size. Sides include a choice of about 12 vegetables. Even if you reached your capacity, the choice of about 10 desserts is more than delectably tempting. You may choose between Godiva Cake, NY Cheesecake, Chocolate Velvet Cake or even Key Lime Pie. As should be, the selection of American wines is vast and satisfies most price ranges. |
