Dine al fresco beneath a canvas umbrella overlooking Marina Bay
Our meal started with an item I first tasted a couple years back during my first visit. Again, I was delighted to find, the cumin-spiced crab cake with marinated cucumber and chilli didn't disappoint. Another delicious appetizer of the 10 choices on the menu is the seaweed-wrapped tuna tempura with a spicy mustard and soy dressing.
There are a couple soups on the menu with about 7 sides. The fish selections definitely will not disappoint the most particular seafood lover. There is a delicious dish of oven-roasted miso cod and an equally enjoyable pan-roasted trout with garlic, scallion and a black bean crust. A bit more robust is the hazelnut-crusted king prawn with lemongrass and lobster sauce. It is both tender and succulent.
For those who prefer meat, there are 4 choices of meat and poultry and the whole roast cornish game hen, parma ham, and truffle mash is excellent. Nothing completes a delicious meal better than one of the 8 desserts on the menu. Great choices of decadence include the valhrona chocolate fondant with vanilla bean ice cream or basil crepes with caramelized bananas and butterscotch ice cream.
There is a nice selection of old and new world wines by the glass and bottle. Staff is eager to assist patrons with questions and menu recommendations. |
