The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Four
Seasons Hotel. For a casual and relaxed setting plus Western-style cuisine,
Steak House is a good choice. The open kitchen, salad bar and conservatory
ceiling make a statement for an otherwise bland decor. The restaurant seats 88,
including seating for 14 in a private dining room.
Steak House serves delicious cuts of prime beef, fresh seafood and an extensive
salad bar. A sample of the menu includes some delicious starters. What is more
appropriate for an American steak house than the traditional Caesar salad,
especially when it comes with rotisserie chicken and crispy bacon. Other great
appetizers are the Nori-rolled smoked salmon & scallops, carpaccio with lemon
zest essence and a soup favorite ... the lobster cream soup with rolled prawn
frittata. Main courses come with sides however there are 5 additional side
dishes to select from. Some main dishes that are available are: 1/2 dozen
chilled oysters margaritas topped with Mandarin caviar, whole maine lobster,
Pacific sole, and Atlantic salmon fillet. There is also grilled beef tenderloin
& king prawn with crayfish sauce. Some may prefer the Australian Kobe rib-eye or
double lamb chops. For people wanting the best of both worlds they should try
the filet mignon & half lobster. If you have room for dessert, there is nothing
else to consider rather than the New York style cheesecake that comes with
assorted berries and praline sauce. A great alternative is the apple pie with
vanilla ice cream and cinnamon sauce or the warm baked pear in a puff pastry
with praline sauce. |
