The restaurant has a bar, a small dining area on the first floor, with more seating on the second floor, plus a small rooftop garden on the third floor. Artwork covers the walls with Jazz or lounge-type background music helping set the mood.
Tamarind offers a cozy and trendy ambience while the menu consists of innovative vegetarian dishes. Food comes in small portions compared to some other eateries so I recommend you skip the very small appitizers and try the main courses which are a much better value for money since the food here is considered to be expensive. The only complaints; I tried a mushroom steak dish that had way to much salt so I recommend you request the salt be omitted from your dish, and if you like, you can add it yourself and the desserts look great but they are most suitable for people that are health-conscious as the sweetness you may expect isn't found in Tamarind's desserts. All in all, the food is very good with the atmosphere comfortable and inviting …a great place to use your laptop or read a chapter of your favorite book while relaxing with a healthy meal. |
