Situated on the ground floor of the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa. You may arrive by the hotel's Free water-taxi service if you wish to have the complete trader experience. The water-taxi runs every 30 minutes and stops are the Saphan Taksin Pier, the Oriental Hotel Pier, and the River City Shopping complex Pier and returns to dock at the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa. The restaurant is decorated in a Polynesian atmosphere with bamboo panels and handicrafts. One side of the restaurant overlooks the Chao Phraya River with a nice patio and the other side has a large glass wall connected to a beautiful Polynesian style garden atrium with waterfall and pond. One end of the restaurant offers a large bar with plenty of tables. The dining room tables are large and beautifully set.

When the food is Polynesian, it can include an intriquing blend of American-Chinese wok-cooked dishes, curries & western meat and fish dishes (many cooked in a Chinese wood-fired oven) cooked perfectly with Asian herbs and spices. Incredibly, the marriage of these foods works extremely well. The Caesar salad is prepared at your table while you enjoy a touch of aromatic theatre. Particularly rich, the lamb and the lobster curries are excellent. There are flambe items and best of all perhaps are the dishes turned out by the wood-fired oven that includes, such favorites as; Rack of Lamb Indonesian -style with Chutney and Peanut Butter, US Prime Rib of Beef on the bone with Cracked Peppers and Phuket Lobster with Chilli Lime sauce.

Don't forget the unbeatable Sunday Jazz Brunch with free flowing wine and beer and a live jazz band.

There is a candlelit bar serving wonderful Polynesian named fruity and potent cocktails. There is a very comprehensive wine list from classic Bordeaux to wines from Alsace, Germany, Italy, Chile, California, Australia and South Africa. The cocktails are fancy and large and everybody should try the hot buttered rum in a skull mug.

Extremely professional, polite and friendly.

This is not the time to be overly-concerned with the cost because everything is reasonably priced while the ambiance and fantastic food & service is more than a memorable experience.
