Situated on Petchburi Road, in the Amari Atrium Hotel, the eatery is a quaint and romantic place to enjoy an excellent example of fine Italian cuisine.

This was the second visit for my wife and I but this time we brought her sister, who was visiting from Australia, to visit this lovely restaurant and we were hoping the food would be as fantastic as our first trip. Last year we enjoyed a remarkably delicious meal with moscovy marinated duck, sauteed salmon, snow-fish fillet and other great dishes that my wife still remembers.

First up of course, we ordered a bottle of wine from a selection of more than 75 whites and reds, mostly from Italy and France. There is a charge for drinking water, but I always prefer a glass of water nearby during my meal. We viewed the menu to see how much it has changed since our last visit. It is not particularly large but produces more than adequate selections to choose from. To begin with, there are three or four soups offered and an excellent choice is the Essence of Seafood with fennel and tomatoes. From a choice of starters we selected the Antipasti, a selection of assorted Italian appetizers and the Fine Lobster Salad with Tropical Fruits. Additional choices were Pan-fried Medallions with Spinach, Iranian Caviar and Tomato Sabayan. There are about 6 interesting pizzas on the menu with the option of "making your own" but we passed on the pizza and selected a couple pasta dishes. From the 14 selections of pasta, we chose Black and White Tagliolini served with prawn and saffron sauce. The other dish was Linguini Noodles served with four cheeses. The last dish we decided to share was the Grilled Australian Beef Tenderloin on pinot noir gravy, melted potatoes served with porcini mushrooms and garden cress. We were smiling ear-to-ear as we enjoyed every bite. There are some traditional desserts on the menu but we were beyond capacity with all the great food we had already eaten.
