Large rooms with starched white table covers set around a fully stocked bar with walls adorned with paintings of a renowned Italian artist set the mood for a friendly, cheerful, and fun atmosphere.
Zanotti continues to maintain its reputation as one of Bangkok’s best Italian restaurants. The pizza bread is crispy and fresh and the pastas are just as you might find them in Piedmont or Tuscany. A good starter for the meal is a table order of mixed antipasti or antipasto misti, a refreshingly cold platter of samples of lobster, scampi, artichokes, mushrooms, sausage, cheese and mussels. Duck breast is grilled with herbs in a perky plum sauce. Spaghetti vongole is a favourite as is the Ossobucco. T-bone steak Florentine-style are perfectly cooked and highly recommended.
Tiramisu is not to be missed while the fruit platter is large enough to satisfy two persons. Zanotti offers Italian wines exclusively and has an almost endless choice from all regions of the country with almost 100 reds and 40 whites to perfectly match your taste.
